Woking Workshop Feb 2017

Sunday 12th February afternoon in Woking sees “Fun with 15th and 16th Century Dance Music & Dances – a workshop for musicians and dancers”  with Andy Richards, Helen Richards & Fiz Markham, similar to their workshops much enjoyed at Sidmouth Festival. The musicians will have fun learning tunes by ear with dance emphasis, and the dancers will have fun dancing to their super music!

12:15 – 13:30 Have fun playing for early dance, learning tunes by ear with dance emphasis. Players of any acoustic instruments that can play in G, D and Em and blend into a band will be very welcome! Music is available  at https://eglamore.wordpress.com/workshop-music/ .

13:30 – 14:30 Bring and share lunch.

14:30 – 17:00 Have fun learning dances from the 15th and 16th century. No prior experience required, just a sense of humour and the ability to move in time with music. Musicians from the playing for early dance session will provide super music for this!

There’s parking at the hall, and it’s about 7 minutes walk from Woking train station (which is about 30 minutes from Waterloo).
